About Our Area - Holden Beach:

Holden Beach for sunbathing, shell collecting and walks along the ocean. Holden Beach also has a pavillion area with activities thoughout the summer months. Contact the Holden Beach Town Hall for more information. Also, there is a free concert during the summer months at this same area. Contact the Town Hall to see when the bands will be playing and which band will play. Usually on Sunday eveings around 6:00 p.m. Holden Beach is 8 miles long - enough shells and strand for all of us! Enjoy!! It does cost to park at the designated parking areas during prime time.

There are charter boats, jet ski and boat rentals, bike rentals, tiki hut boat rental around the intracoastal.
Golfing - golf courses are everywhere! The closest to Holden Beach - would be Lockwood Folly. There are others in Shallotte, Ocean Isle, Sea Trail and Sunset Beach area.

Shopping - along the causeway of Holden Beach; Shallotte, Ocean Isle, Sunset Beach and Calabash. There is also lots to do in beautiful historic Southport.

Ferry Rides to Kure Beach and Fort Fisher are available in Southport. Ferry Rides to Bald Head Island are also available in Southport.

We have many churches and religions available in our area as well as in Brunswick County.
