About Moma and Daddy:

Moma and Daddy

Our Family

Daddy & Moma were married on October 1, 1950 and built this home in 1952.  They had 3 children; Steve, Pam and Chris.  This home was built on 1.27 acres of approximately 33 acres that Moma would be given by her Mother and Father along Stanbury Road.  Further down, will be another 33 acres to another child of R. E. and Rosie Bellamy and a little further down will be the final 33 acres of the 100 acres tract owned by my grandparents.  To this day, it has remained in the heirs of our grandparents.  My mother divided her inheritance between her 3 children; my oldest brother had 1 child - he had given his son a tract of land for his home and upon his passing, his son received my brother's land.  I have divided my land between 2 of my 3 children biological children and bought into another cousins portion for my 3rd child to have his share aside from my home tract.  My youngest brother has not given his children a portion of his inheritance yet as they have not reached a mature age to do so.  So, we have worked hard to maintain our grandparents wish - keep the land in the family so your family will have some land.  My grandparents worked hard; my parents worked hard and my husband and I have worked hard - in fact, I think that is all we know - we might need to learn how to retire and how to relax.  Another thing my Granddaddy told me when I was young, work will not kill you, laziness will.  I believe him. My grandparents and my mother lived to be in their late 90's!.  Welcome to Moma & Daddy's Place - a place where Memories are Made.
